![]() The script is being tested with Illustrator CS6 and CC, so compatibility shouldn't be an issue. ![]() I expect to release a beta version next week. I don't know if there's anyone still interested on this project, but I've been progressing on this. The auto part in its name comes from the fact that it will automatically find the right cut settings for common material types. You will use this blade for most of your cutting. I had considered getting a Cameo a while back, but I decided not to due to the lack of information available on how they work with Pepakura Designer. The autoblade is the standard blade that comes with the Cameo 4. I bought the Silhouette Cameo 4 desktop cutting machine a few days back and tried using the Cameo 4 with pepakura. For the people who like to use Pepakura models as a base for their work, but hate the cutting/scoring part, a Cameo is almost a must have item. I don't know if its due to some bizarre setting I have or if its simply a bug in Pepakura, so I need you to try creating a PDF like this (you can change the line settings in Settings -> Print Settings -> Print lines clearly) and tell me if it displays correctly, with no missing images. Let’s look at all the blades and tools individually to see what they are used for. Hi everyone, could you help me a little? I've been relying on using PDFs exported from Pepakura with vector print, but sometimes some of the pages are missing textures. I also have plans to use another tool instead of illustrator, but first I need to know if there's interest from the community. I use a Silhouette Cameo paper cutter so. The problem is that, right now, software requirements are quite specific:Įither Silhouette Studio Designer Edition or Silhouette Connect Generally, the patterns are printed on card stock paper and then cut out either by hand or using a craft paper cutter. It will take a PDF exported from Pepakura, and create a new PDF with registration marks (for printing), and an extra file for every page (for the cutter). ![]() ![]() So, out of a week of pure frustration, I have streamlined a workflow to accurately cut pep files, and I'm working on a script that I plan to release if there's interest for it. If you try the software the Cameo comes with, you'll see that it is a very precise machine so I guessed the problem is on Pepakura's side. I've checked several tutorials on how to reduce this issue, but they don't seem to work for everyone. I bought Pepakura Viewer for the Cameo, and have some calibration issues which worsen as the blade gets to the bottom of the page. Hi there, just wondering if anyone uses a Silhouette Cameo (or any other cutter) to cut Pepakura files.
